Allevio nerve block catheter is developed by neurolgists in the U.S with the purpose to relieve pain for patients who suffer from Migraine, Hortons Disease and Trigeminusneuralgy – an option when traditional medical treatments are not working. Product brochure (PDF)

Flexible protection – Insert the catheter into the nostril without inconvenience for the patient.
Directional arrow on the catheter simplifies the use of the tip when inserting the catheter.
Angled tip makes it easy to insert the catheter to the SPG ganglion without causing any pain for the patient.
Clear markings on the catheter ensures the tip positioning during treatment.

No medical compresses, needles or narcotic drugs are needed.
A soft catheter is slowly inserted into the nostril and local anesthetic is injected to stun the SPG ganglion. A simple, fast and more efficient method to achieve a SPG-blocking. The treatment is totally pain free and is easy to perform.
How to perform the treatment on a patient
Insert the Allevio® nerve block
catheter in one nostril until it stops.
Pull back the catheter 5 mm
(a half mark, marked on the catheter).
Push in the inner catheter which will
automatically end up in the cavity.
Clear markings on the catheter
ensures the tip positioning during
treatment.
Inject 2 ml local anesthesia through
the catheter. Bring out the catheter.
Repeat the procedure in the other
nostril.
The patient should remain in a
supine position for approximately
10 minutes.
